IMEXPHARM JOINS HAND WITH NHA TRANG CITY PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT FOR A HEALTHIER LIFE FOR EVERY PEOPLE

Today, Imexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company accompanied the People's Committee of Nha Trang City to plant trees along Ring Road 2 of Nha Trang. This is an activity to demonstrate Imexpharm's social responsibility in joining hands with localities to protect the environment and bring healthier living conditions to the citizens.
The activity was attended by Ms. Truong Thi Thu Thao - Deputy Head of the Department of Theory, Politics and Party History, Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee. Mr. Pham Minh Tuan - Deputy Head of the Department of Mass Organizations and Associations, People's Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee and Mr.Tran Anh Tuan - Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Van Minh - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nha Trang City; Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Hien - Deputy Director of the City Public Service Management Board and other members of the leadership of Nha Trang city and Khanh Hoa province; and representatives from Imexpharm including Board of Directors, staffs, sales team and marketing team, joined city officials in planting 500 trees along Ring Road 2 of Nha Trang and collected rubbish along Nha Trang beach. This is part of the campaign "Nurturing Green Seeds - Drawing the Future" launched by Nha Trang City in response to the government's plan to plant 1 billion trees between 2021-2025.
Speaking at the opening ceremony at Thap Cham Square, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Nha Trang Provincial Youth Union, shared that in recent years, hundreds of thousands of trees have been planted and cared for by the youth unions, union members, and young people. These practical activities have contributed to raising awareness of forest protection, improving the living environment to be green and clean, and mitigating some of the effects of climate change.
2024 is the year chosen by the Central Secretariat with the theme "Year of Volunteer Youth", in which there is a target of planting hundreds of new trees that the Central Youth Union has set for Khanh Hoa province to help Nha Trang become a green, clean, and beautiful coastal city. We are very happy and appreciate the companionship of Imexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company in this meaningful activity," said Mr. Tuan.

Not only focusing on environmental protection activities, Imexpharm also prioritizes investment in activities contributing to the community. Since its establishment in 1977, Imexpharm has held campaigns to distribute medicine to poor people, award scholarships to students with difficulties, sponsor the program of bridge construction as well as health care activities especially community health in many localities across the country. In 2023, Imexpharm itself has sponsored more than 1 billion VND for community activities such as accompanying Dong Thap Military - Civil Hospital to organize a free medical check-up and medicine distribution program for veterans, meritorious people, family under preferential treatment policy and people with disabilities in 4 rural communes of Thanh Binh district. Moreover, it accompanies the Study Promotion Association of Dong Thap Province to sponsor 566 million VND for the "Commendation ceremony for students and teachers with excellent achievements in the school year 2022 - 2023". Imexpharm also joins in such campaigns as Spring Tree to support children of poverty to have a good Tet, donates for the Tet program for the poor in Cao Lanh city, contributes to the social security program of Tam Nong district, Dong Thap province.
